eBay It Forward

In the tradition of Leading Completely and Keeping It Human, eBay will join forces with "Eve", a new three-day-long Salt Lake City celebration to bring in the New Year slated to begin on December 29th.

Dubbed "eBay It Forward", a more optimistic and generous way of approaching the New Year spearheaded by dozens of employees from the eBay Customer Support Headquarters in Draper, Utah in an effort to raise funds to help "Family Promise" SLC, a local charity helping families affected by homelessness,

The idea behind eBay It Forward is to focus on things we want to share with others and bring forward into 2010, the things we are grateful for and mean the most to us. eBay It Forward connects the past year with the coming year, members of the Salt Lake community with one another and the global eBay community and hopes to create a new tradition of paying forward the good things from the prior year in hopes that they may help someone else in the year to come.

Family Promise is an interfaith alliance helping homeless families achieve lasting self-sufficiency.
