What is eBay Live?
eBay Live is the annual convention of eBay users of all shapes and sizes - little buyers, big buyers, little sellers, big sellers, mega-powersellers. It gives the community a chance to interact with eBay staffers in a way that most people don't get to. There is a huge Solutions Floor with booths manned by several eBay Teams such as the eBay Stores Team, the Finding Team, Buyer Central, and Seller Central. There are also numerous Vendor booths for companies that provide products, tools, and other services to eBay users - USPS is there, Andale, Vendio, and other auction management companies, and last year, Squidoo made an appearance too! The picture is of Megan Casey from Squidoo and myself in their booth at eBay Live 2007 in Boston.
In addition to the Solutions Floor, there are numerous classes on a number of topics appealing to both buyers and sellers. The other major events are the Keynote Address at the Opening Ceremonies (the evening of the first night, sort of a State of the Site report where Lorrie Norrington and John Donahoe will discuss changes to the site, and upcoming specials or changes) and the Closing Gala (a great big party with a special musical guest). At the closing gala, the new inductees for the Community Hall of Fame are announced.
This lens is about eBay Live 2008. I will provide more information about it as the dates approach, and afterwards I will share my own photos and other people's photos from the event. eBay Live 2007 Boston was my first experience at an eBay Live, and I wouldn't have missed it for the world, and I'm already looking forward to another fun time in Chicago.

eBay Live 2008 will be held June 19, 20, 21st at McCormick Place (West)You can get more information about eBay Live on the eBay Live Discussion Board dedicated to it. The link takes you to a thread with more information being posted by Gianni, an eBay employee. In January, expect to see the topics in the overall eBay Live forum shift from the eBay Live that was to the eBay Live that will be.

- There is a forum I found on the internet that is free, and helps with Ebay, PayPal, business and the law. Just post any question, the experts will answer it if it has not already been answered!
Feedback removal is a heavy topic there.
The forum has a lot of expert advice on it. http://www.modeeworld.com/forums I found advice there about how to avoid EBAY suspensions, get past PayPal limitations, also lots of detailed help on creating your own business, getting past trademark violations, VERO and lots more. Plus general advice on how best to sell on EBAY, what sells the best, how to get the best price for your product, really everything related to EBAY and internet business.
Also advice about how EBAY really works and how PayPal really works. The inside scoop.

- Hi! The lens is great, just the lens! Sorry I am not a big fun of all eBay changes. I love eBay as it was 5 years ago when I started.
But we will learn to change ourselves, find alternatives and do our best as usual.
