How to Make Money Selling on eBay

Many eBay sellers or seller "wannabes" ask what can be sold on eBay that won't cost much to buy but will have big income potential. I am here to tell you that you can make a great deal of money by selling replacement china and dinnerware pieces on eBay.

I am living proof that a great income can be made (and IS being made by myself and others) by selling replacement china/dinnerware on eBay. But why would anyone want to buy used dinnerware on eBay?

Many people have a large china or dinnerware set that they need to purchase more pieces for or they have broken a piece of their set. By finding these items in thrift stores or at garage sales, you can help eBay buyers find those missing pieces.

Look for dinnerware that is in good to great condition. New pieces sell very well, but even used pieces sell great if they are still in good condition.

Check for extensive utensil marks, chips, cracks, crazing or any other damage that can lower the value.

Be sure to keep an eye out for hidden damage under price tags and tape in thrift stores. Unfortunately, you can often get your items home only to find that the plates under the top plate are damaged.

How Do You Know What To Sell?

Mikasa? Studio Nova? Bone China? What should I sell?

It takes some time to learn the ins and outs of selling on eBay, but china and dinnerware can be a very lucrative business! Who would think that USED plates could sell for so much money?

Just like any profitable business, you have to do your RESEARCH first. You cannot simply go out and immediately know which dinnerware sets to purchase.

A great place to get information for FREE is on eBay Pulse. Here is a short video where I explain how to use eBay Pulse:
