Sept 25: eBay shoplifter nabbed in France - A debt-ridden French shoplifter who sold stolen supermarket items on eBay is to face justice after police became suspicious about her low-priced loot, officials said Thursday. The 33-year-old woman, who is estimated to have stolen more than 85,000 euros' (120,000 dollars') worth of goods from the Leclerc store in her hometown of Doubs, eastern France, since 2005, is due to appear in court December 7 following her arrest. September 15: Vick's purported apology notes sell for $10,200 on eBay - Michael Vick's purported apology notes were sold for $10,200 Friday on eBay to a stand-up comedian who wrote for the TV show "Seinfeld." Carol Leifer's winning bid will go to the Humane Society of the United States, which put the item up for sale and promised to put the money toward its anti-animal fighting efforts. Representatives for Vick, quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons and a Newport News native, have questioned the authenticity of the note and said the handwriting is not his. Source Story

Sept 5: Racehorse owner charged with selling stolen golf balls on eBay - They booked 37-year-old Gregg Pistochini for grand theft of $19,000 worth of golf balls.
