However, the truth of the matter is - selling on eBay is extremely easy, only if you follow the following 3 tips very closely:
Tip #1 - Find Out What Products People Are Searching For
There is no point for you to have a product that no one is interested.
To look for products that people are actively searching for currently, simply go to eBay Pulse (http://pulse.ebay.com). This page will show you the most popular products people have searched for at present - I call them the "Hot" products.
Tip #2 - Find Out What Works
Once you've identified the "hot" markets, do a search to find out who is selling these "hot" products.
Now, you need to pay very close attention to the way these people have created their eBay listings - such as the words they've used in the title and description, number of pictures they've used, etc.
Learn as much as possible from the top sellers of these "hot" products you're interested in, and do the exact same thing (but please do not copy word-for-word).
Tip #3 - Find Out Where You Can Get The Products
After you've found out which products people are actively searching for, as well as how top sellers sell these products, now it's time for you to get these products and create your own eBay listings to sell them.
