Why is this header different then the other Squidoo headers? Now eBay Sellers have their own community on Squidoo. eBay Seller Directory of Stores, Listings, Websites and Squidoo Lenses 

Here are the rules. This will help me manage the lens more effectively.

It is very difficult for me to police the directory so I would ask for your help. The eBay Sellers on Squidoo directory is a free service for eBay sellers. In order to keep this from getting out of control, I would ask that you only add links if you are an eBay seller.

eBay Sellers, you can add links to any of your sites (eBay store, website, cafe press site, blogs, Squidoo Lenses, etc.) Each category will eventually be its own lens and contain a directory of stores, a directory of content, 3 featured Seller eBay modules that highlight CORE items, a featured Lens module and whatever else I can come up with to make it valuable for buyers and sellers.

Please add your links to the appropriate list. I encourage you to add your Squidoo lenses, Associated Content, blog etc. to the content list.

This is a work in progress so it may take time to add all categories so please be patient. Together with your help we can drive new customers to your stores and lenses.

Please bookmark the directory and tell your friends. Also if you are a eBay Stores Boardie make sure and let the other sellers know about this potentially great marketing tool.

Also, the eBay Sellers on Squidoo Directory is now the #2 lens on all of Squidoo and is seeing a steady rise in traffic, so make sure to include your links. If you like what you see please rate each category lens and leave some feedback.

The Squidoo Plexo is a great Content Tool

Are you looking for additional content for your lens or blog? Why not grab one of the lists from the eBay Seller's Directory.

Here's all you do: Just find the list you are looking for and press the Grab This Button. You will be given 3 options: #1 is an RSS feed for your blog, lens or RSS reader; #2 is a widget that allows readers to vote for items in the list. You can get the code and add it to your blog or website; #3 put it on one of your lenses. Just follow the instructions and you are all set.

This is a great way to spread these lists all over the internet.

Stats! Stats! and more Stats!

Squidoo provides a great stat reporting tool for your Squidoo lenses. Just click into your dashboard and select the Stats link, then choose the Traffic tab and you are all set.

Big tip! If you want to see where your Squidoo referrals are coming from just click on the Squidoo link in the Referrers section and it will list each of the pages on Squidoo that sent you a visitor. Hopefully you will get a growing number of links from the eBay Seller's on Squidoo directory.

Extra Marketing Benefits for eBay Sellers 

eBay Sellers! When you list your Squidoo lens, eBay Store and or website in the eBay Sellers on Squidoo Directory you get these additional marketing benefits.

Since this is a free service all I ask is that you rate and/or Stumble the category lens that you list your items in. This will help improve the dicoverability of the directory and improve traffic so that you can benefit from the increase. Also, please recommend this directory to other eBay sellers you know.
  1. I WILL STUMBLE UPON EACH LISTING

    There are currently over 300 listings in the directory, so this may take some time but I will get to each eBay Store, Website and Squidoo lens and Stumble Upon it. Stumble Upon usually bring a nice increase in traffic.

  2. I WILL RATE EACH LENS

    Each Squidoo Lens that is added to the directory will be rated with 5 stars. If I think your lens is not quite up to snuff, I will probably make some suggestions on improvement before I rate the lens. You can see what I look for in a Lens here

  3. I WILL VOTE FOR EACH LENS AND STORE LISTING

    Each of the categories has a list that allows you to vote and raise the exposure for your listing. I will vote for each listing. If you want to see your links rise in the list, I suggest you vote and get your friends to vote too. I only show the top 5 links in each category on the main directory lens so make sure you vote.

Guidelines for Listing on the eBay Sellers On Squidoo Directory 

If you would follow some of these guidelines you can help me make this a very successful marketing tool for eBay sellers. You will benefit by increased traffic to your Squidoo Lenses and Online Stores
  • I have not included every category so please put you store and Squidoo lens links in the most appropriate category. If you have a category to suggest please add it to the list below.
  • When adding your store, website and or Squidoo Lens please take some time to choose an appropriate title, perhaps something that will catch the attention of a potential customer. Add a short description as well.

    After you add your link and select done you will need to re-format the title and write a description.
  • This directory is for eBay sellers and former sellers worldwide. It is meant to promote your eBay Store, blogs, Squidoo lenses, webstores, or other marketplace storefronts. If you are not a current or former seller on eBay please do not list your items in the directory.

    It will be very difficult for me to police the lens so I'm asking for your help. Please do not spam the lens with get rich quick schemes etc.
  • If any category gets too large I will create a specific lens geared to that category and as the category grows I will add sub-categories. My goal is to provide eBay sellers with a tool to drive traffic to their stores or Squidoo Lenses. And its free!
  • Have fun! The eBay Sellers on Squidoo Directory will only be a successful tool if you maximize your use. Always remember to add the ?refid=store code at the end of any link to your eBay Store. When using this link you save up to 75% of all FVF on items purchased during that session.
  • In an effort to keep the main directory as clean as possible I am only showing 5 or fewer listings in each category. If there are more than 5 listings I have created a category lens where all listings are visible. In order to show up in the top 5 make sure to vote for your favorite store or lens.
  • Please include your other links like websites, cafe press stores, eCrater Stores, etc. If you have content you would like to add please make sure to put it in the appropriate section. You may add your blog, Associated Content, Squidoo lenses etc.

    This directory is for Sellers that happen to sell on eBay so make the best use of it.
  • Please let me know if you would like to be featured in one of the eBay modules on the individual category lenses. There will be three modules per lens so I might as well include your auction items rather than let eBay pick them based on keyword. So send me a note.
