With this slim electornic reader, it's a lot easier to carry a few books with you. If you prefer to read instead of listening, then you now have the alterantive to audio books, that were already very compact and transportable.

Wireless downloading of books - You can look up a book, read a summary and/or a few reviews and then buy it right away. This is a powerful feature. Entire books really do download in just a few seconds.
Readability - The Kindle is light and allows one-handed reading, the overall size of the reader is very convenient, and the crisp text and the variable font size all work together to make the experience while reading just fabulous.

Most Kindle Books are $9.99 a piece!
If you are looking for a real bargain, then Kindle books are a great way to economize. The savings by taking electronic delivery are enourmous, and Amazon actually puts all of your purchases in a back-up storage. this allows you to re-download at any time the books you have already bought.
