How to Build a Backdrop - eBook
Step by step guide to a backdrop for any event
I wrote this step by step guide years ago. It was posted on a wedding forum that is now defunct. Over the years, I have been contacted and asked to re-write it in book form and get it back out there. I finally took the time and here it is!
The backdrop can be used for almost any occasion. Planning a wedding, corporate event, fundraiser, Prom, or any other type of event? This backdrop is easy to build, simple to decorate and will be remembered by your guests! Highlight an area of your event with this backdrop. It can be decorated to match your theme or color scheme.
How to Build a Backdrop is $12.95 and digitally delivered after payment.

Uses for a DIY Backdrop
- 1Backdrops for Photobooth - It has become increasingly popular to have a photobooth area at your wedding reception or event. This allows guests to take home a remembrance of the evening. Since the backdrop is built in sections, you can create a great photobooth of your own -- avoiding the high rental fees of a traditional photobooth.
- 2Behind the Cake Table (or dessert buffet or other special table) -- A cake is often times a center of attention at a wedding reception. Creating a backdrop for your cake will make it shine in your pictures!
- 3Behind a Head Table - At a wedding reception or special event, a head table is often used. Let everyone know where your head table is and get wonderful pictures of the head table guests. An ugly background in pictures can actually interfere with the composition and the final result in a photo. This backdrop is customizable so it will blend in, allowing your guests to stand out or be a focus if that is what you want.
- 4Creating a Vignette -- Do you have an area that needs to be covered like an electrical panel, a door or column. This DIY backdrop is perfect for masking unattractive architecture or venue decor. Use one section and then create a vignette out of decor items that match your theme.

- What a resume girl. I can tell that you really enjoy doing this type of work. My hat goes off to you. Planning for more than four people is a chore for me.
