Working on some BIG changes for 2011

I've often been told I'm 'eccentric', and the older I get, the worse it seems to get. As I age, though, the less it bothers me. Eccentricity: 1. the quality of being abnormally centered... 2. the quality or habit of deviating from what is usual or customary....

I'm over- and under- qualified for nearly everything! Thank goodness Squidoo doesn't even ask about such things or I'd probably be in trouble AGAIN.

I feel a surge in me, for some good changes coming on in 2011.

First a Citizen Squid, now a SquidAngel!

The speech at the wall was magnificent! My family is full of vets, including both parents, uncles and cousins, two of whom got Agent Orange, and one already died from it, the other one is functioning but has been on the list of probable deaths from it for 10 years...and has PTSD so bad he can't hold a job.(He has a masters degree, but has too many health and psychological problems.) My own father was extremely mistreated by the VA(vets admin) so I refused to let him be in their hospital and paid to have him cared for at home...out of my own pocket because they were not doing their job and he would have died earlier there. It is deplorable how they treat vets in our country! I talk to my cousin almost everyday so I hear all his horror stories when he goes to the VA for testing. So glad I found this lens...was not on squidoo till last year so it took me a while. You can see all about my mom and dad at my lensmaster page if you want to. They were both true patriots and my father had a silver star, 2 bronze stars, 23 purple hearts, and lots more.
