I sure am!

nursecraft says:

I use second hand stores and thrift stores to buy about 80% of my wardrobe and I am constantly recycling my old clothes and redoing my shoes!

Steve_Kaye says:

I keep clothes a long time and then donate them when they show signs of wear. In other ways, I strive very hard to be eco-friendly.

SBToolkit says:

Love sustainable fashion!

nursecraft says:

I try to think green in many ways of living, but clothing really never crossed my mind. I guess I am green by accident in this case, 'cause I always use thrift shops, and recycle my old stuff. I really liked the entire lens and appreciate the value of it! Thanks!

Quickstart-Home-Biz says:

What a fantastic lens. We love "green" fashion; the more sustainable the better. Thank you for sharing.

dvpwli says:

Me as SquidAngle, I like your this lens and also blessed - I really enjoyed This Lens Thanks

RitaDern says:

Rummage sales, thrift stores like Goodwill, trade with friends, etc. RARELY do I purchase new. When I do, it's fabric like cotton.

bames24 says:

mostly in stores that sell pure cotton clothes

sheilamarie says:

Mostly in second hand stores.

JeanJohnson says:

I try to do a clothing swap for new clothes.

kathysmith says:

spirit of playfulness... nice!

EcoWarriorJeweller says:

Most of my clothes come from charity shops ( so recycled), one of the best and biggest i have ever shopped in, was in Berlin 5 storys high.

Bookworm25 says:

I mostly am. We do a lot of swapping between my family (one item has come back to me 5 times!). I buy fairtrade and green clothes (both in colour and eco!) I could be better and this lens is inspiring!

polly72 says:

value village

sorana says:

Sometimes ... LOL

Brick_House_Fabrics says:

YES!!

AllyVuitton says:

Sort of - I do swap clothes with my friends and recycle them.

maxnic11 says:

green is the one!

gypsyman27 says:

Green is the color...

ezpostcard says:

yes, trying my best to be one.

Margo_Arrowsmith says:

I try to be, but not always.

says:

as much as I can be... I love eco-jewelry and recycled handbags are gorgeous and unique. I hate designer bags - everyone has them.... I also only use organic skincare and makeup. My obsession. Another great line of really affordable eco-fashion is Casualmere... super nice folks too. I sell only eco stuff at my OpenSky shop....

Tipi says:

As much as I can be!

lizziebeth says:

Yes, and the more I learn about it, the better! (like reading this lens...)

compugraphd says:

I try -- I'm hardly perfect, but I like going to thrift shops and getting hand-me-downs..... easy on the (all too empty) wallet

ArtConscience says:

Wow - what great information. I knew some of this stuff, and yes - I always thought my wardrobe was green, but this has given me more ideas... thanks!
The real battle, it seems to me, is in convincing people to adopt a 'green conscience', so they live their lives consciously seeking green solutions and buying green things. An amazing piece of art is nearing completion, the largest of its kind - and by a woman, Anna Chromy. Its called The Cloak of Conscience. I just did a lens on it. Please go see: cloak-of-conscience (I'm lensrolling yours) ;)

Asinka says:

Yep!

environmentally-friendly says:

I certainly try to be but I know I could work harder at it too.

Aika says:

Some of my clothes are from my mother's and older cousin's. Since I love outdoors, there's one brand that's my favorite, which they use from their recycled products.

Heather426 says:

Yes, I'm eco chic even if I'm not chic in the real sense. I like casual living.

says:

We shop second hand stores before retail, and find most of what we need at the first stop! What the kids outgrow, I donate.

dotvalone says:

IMHO,the ONLY place to buy jeans is at a thrift shop or at yard sales. They are already broken in, pre-washed, pre-shrunk, faded, comfy and cheap!

FlowerChick says:

Some of my favorite clothes were purchased at secondhand shops. Great bargains! I'm getting greener by the day. My new passion is earth friendly purses. They are so cool, one-of-a-kind, and socially responsible.

organiccosmetics says:

Awesome lens! I am trying little by little to become more eco-chic....it's great that more main stream stores are selling organic fabrics.

echoesintheattic says:

I co-own an upcycled handbag company. We divert 500 lbs of gorgeous, designer fabric from our bloated landfills every 2 weeks and refashion it all into one of a kind handbags for earth's sake. www.echoesintheattic.com

GraceKingsley says:

My favorite is Kyler by Joy O, where I get my jewelry! It's sustainable, recycled, and made completely in the US. They also plant a tree for every order I make!

Theresa says:

I get my clothes from www.embodies.com. They have soooo much to choose from for the eco conscious shopper :)

lynette76 says:

Definately! I even sell eco-friendly apparel. Check out my purses made from recycled materials like coconut shells, sea shells and magazines. They're GREAT!! www.studiog.us

SusanBurch says:

I would love my entire wardrobe to be organic, but I just don't have the budget for it. I am hoping that as demand increases, like everything else, the price point will come down.

tcinvestor says:

Getting more and more green by the day. Just need to get my wife moving stronger in that direction. This lens should help. Thanks

Lori_Lee-Ray says:

I like anything that doesn't make me feel like I'm being weighed down! I absolutely love the organic cotton tees

RolandTumble says:

I answered the above poll with "I neve even think about it," but that's not really true. I hardly ever think about materials--or country of origin, which is a separate-but-related issue--because I buy at least 95% of my clothing at thrift stores. Reuse beats recycling (though reduction is even better...).

naturegirl7 says:

We often by 2nd hand clothes & when we buy new, we purchase clothing made from cotton and other natural fabrics.

myhappylaptop says:

Getting there, esp in the Hemp Dept. Feels so Good on skin:)

NomadBijoux says:

Great leans!! definitely eco-chic!! Green rocks :)

NomadBijoux says:

Full on eco-green!! green rocks!!

themodo says:

green is the new black!

ArtByLinda says:

Mostly cotton, eco-friendly but not so "chic"

I am not chic in any way!

baby-strollers says:

Well, I just wear stuff til it's in tatters - so friendly from that perspective, I don't use up any more resources making new clothes!

PatriceBeaulieu says:

Your lens is an eye-opener towards green fashion. I've noticed "green" clothing is a bit more expensive. I have yet to put any green pieces in my closet but will definitely check the tags more closely next time I go shopping.

pimbels says:

Nope, not yet.

Diamond-Price says:

I wish I was, but no. This lens was the first time I've even been exposed to the concept of eco-friendly wardrobe. I will send some of my other hippie friends over here! and no, i don't think being a hippie is bad....

Cheryl57 says:

I haven't been very Eco, but plan to become more active in this direction. Than you for all the good info.

miaponzo says:

My wardrobe is totally NOT eco friendly, but thanks to this great lens.. I am going to see how I can change that! :) (I do try, but our clothes in Kuwait are mostly polyester.. any suggestions of great fabrics that hang well. don't cling and whatever that are more eco friendly? Thanks!

artgoodman says:

recycling is always in fashion, but some of those first pictures were kinda bad.

newbizmau says:

Barely!

louiswery says:

Not yet!

StephenC says:

Not very, but i will be working on it after reading this lens.

drs2biz says:

I'm just lucky to get something to fit me here in China. Their sizes are so small!

mcochs says:

No,unfortunately.

ohcaroline says:

I'm really not in this new flow of fashion. I have much to learn.

nightcats says:

Nope. I wish I was because I totally support anything that's good for the environment. However, it seems I live in sweats, shorts t-shirts and bathing suits. I'm so far away from chic I am not on the same planet as chic.

Cherrybomb2009 says:

I should be eco-chic, and if I were employed, I'd be working toward an eco-friendly wardrobe right now. But I'm not.

LoKackl says:

Eco Chic, little green dress, lean and green - now that environmentally sensitive clothing has its own lingo it's sure to become "hotter and hotter!" Great lens with fascinating information! Thanks I guess I'd better get with it..

buygreenproducts says:

I didn't realize there were so many options for green clothing. Thanks for giving me the heads up!

Li-Li-ThePinkBookworm says:

I do not like to shop for clothes, and when I do go with my mom, we hit Wal-Mart. But I am also trying to get down to a healthy weight, so shopping right now is not even really an option.

oneskms says:

Clothes shopping is a sort of chore rather than a pleasure (I'm male - lol) and I'd never even thought that clothing could be eco friendly

jaye3000 says:

Never thought about it, to be honest. I've always bought wherever I see the SALE sign.

WindyWinters says:

Not yet but I've bought some bamboo bedding as I am allergic to some chemicals. I never even thought of clothing. I need to learn more about eco-chic. Thanks for pointing this out.

Intuitive says:

Not yet. It's weird to me how organic cotton has been around for a long time but only in the last year or two has it become chic.
