Lobby your local government to increase spending on sidewalks and bike lanes.
Eat Smart,
If you eat meat, add one meat-less meal per week.
Buy locally raised, organic meat and eggs and dairy whenever you can, this helps the economy.

Why Use Reusable Shopping Bags

(10) Most recycling facilities dont take plastic bags because they have no value to them so they end up in the dump with all the other trash.
(12) Because of ingesting of discarded plastic bags hundreds of thousands of animals die each year.
(13) Toxins are released each day by companies that produce paper bags and plastic bags because it takes chemical to produce these items.

Disposable plastic and paper bags are everywhere. The average American uses around 6 per week. It is simple math 6 times 300 million people in the US and you see how much waste is accumilated just with these 2 items. So next time when you go to the store try to remember to bring reuseable bags.
