The revolutionary Vortech propeller aquarium pump from Ecotech Marine makes it easy to increase water movement in your aquarium without transferring any excess heat. This versatile bracketless pump allows the motor to be outside of the aquarium, with the propeller being driven by a powerful magnetic field that allows torque to transfer from outside of the aquarium to inside it. The benefits of this setup are endless, including no heat transfer or AC electricity being brought into the water and creating danger for your prized aquarium residents.
Flow rates are completely under your control, and can be set anywhere from 500 to 3,000 gallons per hour, and for aquariums up to 500 gallons in size with glass between 3/16 inch and 3/4 inch thick.
Additionally, the Ecotech Vortech comes with the Wireless Wave Driver. This handy device allows you to choose from four different wave settings to create custom water currents in your aquarium and it does it all completely without wires.
