Eddie Stobart Truck Fleet

Eddie Stobart took over the family business and created a truck empire, what is more remarkable is that he created a brand and made truck driving glamorous. His drivers were expected to dress smartly and every truck had a female name. Drivers were expected to wave back at passer bys.

Eddie Stobart has sadly recently died at the young age of 56 years his brother William had however taken over the firm a few years previously. His trucks have had a song dedicated to them, he has had his own television show.

Remember there are two Eddie Stobarts father and son , but it is really the son who created the 1000 truck fleet. Eddie Stobart senior survives his son. There is also an Eddie Stobart Train!. Eddie Stobart drivers drive the equivalent of 4 times round the world everyday.
