As I mentioned above you are not limited to one class, nor player type. You can be a tank during one dungeon taking the brunt of the attacks, and the next you are the healer hanging the back of the crowd. 15 classes available to you keeps you interested whilst leveling your character to the endgame content.

Thieves are a quick DPS class, using swords and daggers to quickly strike their opponents. With the thief you will sneak up on your opponents and deal massive damage very quickly.

Character Level: 40
Thief Level: 35

Strength and Speed govern the Martial Artist's mind. With this class your weapons and armor come second to your own body, you will strike strong and fast and have your opponent sprawled out on the floor before they even know what happened to them.

Prerequisites:
Character Level: 50
Bard Level: 45

The Blade Dancer turns fighting into an artform, making killing look graceful and fluid. The blade dancer is quick and lethal and can attack whole groups of enemies in the blink of an eye.

Character Level: 10

Hunters are very much a solo class, they are great when leveling alone due to their ability tto survive. They attack from a distance with their bow and arrow and send their pet tiger in to do take the brunt of attacks when things get messy.

Hunter Lever: 25

Engineers are the mechanical class, they attack with guns and have quite possibly the coolest armor in all of the game. Engineers in Eden Eternal have a shocking resemblance to Iron Man.

The magician is the quintissential spell-slinger of any MMO, with the mage you will shoot ice beams and fire beams whilst teleporting tto safety and casting insane AoE all over the place! Very fun and exciting class to play.

The Illusionist is very confusing to say the least, much like a jester they adorn themselves in gaudy clothing and inspire awe into their crowds. The illusionist will hypnotize your enemies, heal your allies, and deal death to all in its path.

The Magic DPS will be expanded later this year with the Warlock

The Cleric, while able to hold its own in battle, is the ideal healing class. It can cast heal over time spells along with instant heals and many buffs to help your party achieve greatness.

Character Level: 20

The Bard is the rock-star/hippy of Eden Eternal. It can cast attacks such as burning metal in which using your guitar you will shoot flames up from the ground in a 20 foot radius, and the next heal your party with its healing spells. The bard is a very versatile class to say the least.

Cleric Level: 40

The Shaman is very cool and in high demand in dungeons, they can deal massive amounts of damage and be the healer of the group. They wear animal hide clothes and are the masters of the elements.

The Warrior is one of the starter classes, they are very much a "run up to an enemy and start attacking" no subtlety, no trickery, just brute force. The warrior will either use a shield and sword or a huge two handed sword for more damage.

Warrior Level: 20

The knight is a much more civilized version of the warrior.wielding a rapier and a shield, they run into the heart of the battle to win honor for themselves and save those in their party.

Another Tank will join in the coming months.

There are only 2 playable classes thus far, human and zumi. Human is basically what all of the pictures above look like, and zumi is a mouse like humanoid. 3 more races are supposed to be released in the future.

Leveling in Eden Eternal is an equally original experience as that of the classes. Throughout the game, completing missions will raise your character level, which is necessary for wearing some equipment, being able to use mounts, and to unlock certain classes. The exciting part is that for every class you will have a separate class level that you will need to increase by killing monsters throughout the game world. This way if you want to be a magician and a cleric, you will have to spend time training with both of them instead of just having one set level for every class. This keeps the game interesting even when you have capped your character level and are in end-game play.

Your character will start his/her journey as either a magician or warrior, as these are the only available classes at the time. You must play as one of these until character level 5 when you unlock cleric. At level 10 the thief is unlocked, so it seems easy right? well... not really. After the thief is unlocked character level is only part of the struggle, to unlock a blade dancer your character level must be 50 and your bard must be 45. This keeps you interested even in the end-game, especially when you can change from tank to dps to healing from dungeon to dungeon.

Guilds provide the sense of community necessary in any MMO. With guilds you will have the option to talk solely to guild mates and have fun conversations with people you get to know, and also have people to ask questions of when you are confused with something. Guild Quests are available to do which give you money, experience, and fame for your guild. Your guild level will increase with the more fame that is brought in by you and your guildmates.There are also guild ranks that will allow you certain perks within the guild, such as the ability to recruit and kick other members. At level 3 or 4 the guild leader has the option of getting a guild town which can bring in its own craftsmen and has some very cool events that are guild only. All in all finding a good guild will really improve your Eden Eternal experience!

Throughout the game you will be doing 5 types of quests. The first and most prominent will be your main quests, these are marked with a gold exclamation point and will guide you through one map to the next without missing much. After completing main quests, some of the quest givers will offer repeatable quests marked by a blue exclamation point which are good for some extra experience from time to time when you want to gain a level or so. At the end of most maps you will be given a party quest which will involve a dungeon with elite (more difficult) monsters, where you will need a group of 3 to 5 other players to get through it. Book quests are offered by most merchants in the towns at the beginning of each map and the quests offered by them will for the most part will follow the main quests. Guild quests are offered in Aven and will be one large quest that can be completed during 2 or 3 main quests in a map. Freeform quests are also possible with you and friends by finding some bosses throughout the game world that are wandering and are extremely strong.

The bank runs much like a normal bank would in real life. You go up to the banker and deposit any items you dont want to carry around right then and when you want them later you merely talk to them and withdraw them. The auction house is a little more advanced, it can be used to either sell items of value that you have but do not want to use, or to buy items that you need or want. The auction house is a great way to make money, because some players will pay much higher for something that an ingame merchant would pay next to nothing for. The one thing to watch though when thinking about selling armor and weapons is that if you equip most items they will become bound to you and in the process unable to be traded to other characters, thus making them untradable in the auction house. A 7 day portable bank and 7 day portable auction house are available to be bought in the item mall.

Eden Eternal's creator, Aeria, provides players with an in-game item mall that offers players the opportunity to purchase cool outfits, pets, mounts and other items for real-life money. Players can buy prepaid cards or use a debit card to purchase these items. These items are in no way a necessity and will not give spenders much of an edge in the game, other than the ability to have bunny ears on your character!
