Poor, little rich girl

Known largely as muse to Andy Warhol, Edie Sedgwick is remembered today for being a part of the 1960's counterculture, as well as for her style, especially her waif-like figure, long earrings, black tights and charcoal eyeliner. She was born April 20, 1943 in Santa Barbara, California to a wealthy family. She died November 16, 1971 of a drug overdose.
