This is a directory of lenses I have created since mid 2007
I hope this directory helps interested readers to more quickly an overview of my squidoo lenses. I never thought that the day would come that I have so many lenses that a directory makes sense. But as time goes by..and here it is.
My main field of interest is art, especially drawing and monotype printing. I have done quite a number of instructional lenses on drawing trees, landscape and also the human body. Also I have written about the creative use of sketchbooks.
There are also a couple of lenses with topics from art history such as the history of the puicturesque,the Cafe van Gogh and the famous etcher G.B.Piranesi.
I am using squidoo lenses more and more to promote my artwork on custom products by the notorious print on demand manufacturer Zazzle.com ( My Zazzle shop)
I also like nature and wildlife and therefore you will find also some lenses on gardening and flowers and one about birdsongs too.

- I am totally impressed with the quality of your art work. I have never tried monprints or itaglio or such, but do enjoy looking at it. Also, your Zazzle store is great and I hope to develop something like that soon. I'll be looking through your other lenses as time allows. :)

How to draw trees
This topic is one of my main areas of interest. I even started a weblog, take it as a symptom for my fancy for trees and the woods.

About creativity and artists business
Working with Squidoo has been a great school for me. On the end an artists business plan emerged. These lense were made to make some of the methods I found very helpful accessible for other people.
End of 2010 I started a little workshop project in the Squidoo Shopkeeper talk section of the forum to help myself and others to make our Zazzle shops more successful. The workshop is documented in a lens.
I also did a survey on blogging artists with Etsy shops, which was very interesting and motivating. "Small is the new big" and the new "handmade industry" became more visible for me.

Creative use of sketchbooks
Sketchbooks are my most important creative tool. I use sketchbooks not only to develop visual ideas for designs to be used on Zazzle products for example. Sketchbook and some special notebooks are my most important reservoir and storage for ideas, projects ,actions and notes. I even designed my own IPAN- log a notebook in which I collect everything that I think I could use some time sooner or later for my creative projects.
