EDIUS

Edius is grassvalley software from being used for video editing like Adobe Premiere and friends. Now the new Edius version 6 and you can download on the official website trialnya EDIUS.

Here are the screen workspace EDIUS 6.

Workspace is divided into four major parts namely:
- Preview pane in the upper left
- Effect on the top right panel
- Timeline panel at the bottom left and
- Information on the bottom right panel

Each workspace stand-alone and you can set it freely.
Simpler than the workspace in Adobe Premiere .. : D

Here I discuss on how to use EDIUS 6 for video editing. The basic-basic first ya .. : D
- Run the program, you will be asked to create a new project.

- Define the project folder and then rename your project.

If your PC has 2 physical hard drive, it is advisable to not put your project on my hard drive system. With different hard drive, then the program will run more responsive, especially during the rendering process.

- After that set the preset project. Edius 6 provides a fairly complete presets for a variety of video formats. Starting from SD video (Standard Definition) video up to HD (High Definition)
Select a preset in accordance with the format of your video.

- Workspace will appear and begin to import a video file. Right-click in the timeline panel - Add clip (Shift + Ctrl + o)
Edius 6 supports various video formats. But if your video format is not supported, you can convert first to a common format such as *. avi or *. mpg

- Video files will go into the timeline and ready to edit.
Do the splits video:
Select the sections that will be split. Click the button on the image or press the C

Giving dissolve transitions:
Select the desired effect, drag to the timeline, right between two videos.

And others that I can not explain the one-one. Please you try it yourself, the more often you will try it out and more adept at using EDIUS.

- After you finish editing. Export video in the timeline by pressing the F11 key or the menu file - export - print to file

- Select the desired output format. Advised in accordance with the original video format. Click Export and enter a file name and press save.
Your video will be saved by setting the video format you choose earlier.

That's the basic technique using EDIUS 6. Not much different from other video editing software.
