ACE School Clipart has wonderfully colorful clipart and photos with themes that include school, patriotic, American history, animals, holidays and kids. Lots of bookbags and backpacks.

I can't praise Philip Martin's work enough! His imaginative quirky style appeals to elementary students and teens. Free Clipart by Philip Martin is useful for school projects in art, math, science, social studies, animals, the Bible, certificates, holidays, technology, sports, and religion. (Note that most science clipart is in the Outer Space section.)

School Clip Art has images in dozens of categories, making it easier to find what you want.

Classroom Clipart has 58,000 images. The main categories contain photographs in all subject areas. Look in the "Clipart" category for colorful artistic clipart, including animations.

One of the most popular educational clipart collections is Discovery Education's Clip Art Gallery. They have 500 free images in the usual subjects, as well as food, health and safety, and seasons and holidays.

Lots of wonderful images can be found in the Clipart for Free blog. New images are posted several times a year. This collection includes some fun categories such as Scary, Superhero and Family.

If you send out newsletters and flyers for a school's parent association, then PTO Today Clip Art Gallery has a collection of images designed for you. It's loaded with clipart for events organized by PTOs and PTAs such as fundraisers, calls for volunteers, and after-school events.

An often overlooked large collection of free and well designed images is located on Wikimedia Commons Open Clipart. Unlike most of the other sites, Wikimedia's collection is searchable. In addition they have a huge collection of photographs and other images that are excellent for school projects on Wikimedia Pictures and Images.
