The Playskool Kota Triceratops dinosaur is for the youngest children aimed from age 3 and up. This is the ultimate dinosuar toy for toddlers and preschoolers who get to sit on Kota and enjoy a bumpy ride. The dinosaur responds to voice and touch and makes a range of different noises including roaring, munching and laughing. He also make expressive tail, head, eye, mouth and horn movements.

The Pleo Dinosaur is aimed at children aged 4 and up and is an interesting concept. The dinosaur is one week old to start off with and behaves in this manner, being sleep and needing lots of petting. After a few days the dinosaur becomes more and more interactive and interesting. His behavior can be interesting and unpredicatable, changing from happy to sad, from inquisitive to sleepy. His personality also develops differently according to how the owner interacts with it, with trainintg tips being available. It is meant to be like a pet so may be a good alternative.

D-Rex Interactive Dinosaur is similar to the pleo dinosaur but aimed at older children from aged 8 to 18. The toy can be fierce but fun, walks, chomps and roars, responds to your voice and touch as well. He may roar to get food or demand to be play a game. Will keep children from aged 8 enterained for days.
