About byamabe

I've been a software engineer for about 13 years.  I've worked for startups and big companies.  I've worked on shrinkwrapped and enterprise software.  I am a Christian and a new member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship (ALCF).  Since I've been attending ALCF, God has really started speaking to me (no, not in the literal sense :-) about starting my own company.  Additionally, I've had a great deal of exposure to video games recently, from violence in them to their ability to teach.  I believe God is directing me to start a company that creates games that not only help people grow in their faith, but also attracts those who are not yet saved to explore a relationship with Jesus.

The preceding might give the impression that I'm some Bible thumping crazy.  If you met me, you would certainly have a different impression.  I'm just a typical engineer, fairly introverted kinda guy.  I enjoy watching sports and playing golf (the last sport my body can handle without pain).  I'm not trying to impose my morals on anyone.  I just believe there are morals and I want to get the word out.

Besides being a sports and golf geek (my term for someone who is more than just a casual observer), I'm also a computer, technology, gadget, Macintosh, electronics, games geek as well.
