Waste Paper Basket

Simple and useful craft from egg cartons

The plastic bags from Wal-Mart or the grocery store fit into these nicely. Makes a great waste paper basket.

Charcoal Fire Starter

Egg cartons help ease fire lightning

Using a cardboard egg carton, fill each section with melted wax so that it's about 1/3 full. Place a piece of charcoal (one briquette) in the wax. Close the carton and place on a shelf until you're ready to use. To use, remove the top of the carton, and place the bottom half in the grill. Light the carton. Wait a few minutes and then add more charcoal. This will eliminate the need for lighter fluid.

Because the eggs are the same size and weight of a large chicken egg, farmers place the wooden eggs under a lazy chicken and magically the chicken begins to lay eggs. Wooden eggs have also been used for generations as a teaching toy for children practicing in the kitchen. Straight from Camden Rose Farms we offer a set of 6 eggs in a recyclable egg container. The eggs are sanded baby smooth.
