Ever since i was a kid, i loved waffles a lot. My mom always buys me some everyday until she bought Round Waffle Maker, you can hardly see me outside playing.. Just waiting for my waffles.. :)

Your waffles are finally added to Culinary Favorites From A to Z. It would be great if you could lensroll the group to your lens.

I've never heard of these before but they look great as does the lens. Congrats on Lotd. Blessed and featured on Sprinkled with Stardust and also on Lenses that Shine
  • lisadh Apr 23, 2010 @ 10:20 am | delete
Wow, I normally just drop them in the toaster and add butter and syrup. Now I feel boring! :-) I particularly like the BLT sandwich idea. Will have to try that.
  • Treasures-By-Brenda Apr 20, 2010 @ 6:48 am | delete
Who would have thought? We always do them the ordinary syrupy way although occasionally we make ice cream sandwiches from them.
  • JoyfulPamela Mar 27, 2010 @ 9:26 am | delete
Wow ~ what clever ideas! They look like so much fun!
  • lasertek Mar 21, 2010 @ 7:50 pm | delete
My kids just love Eggo waffles for breakfast. Might as well try the recipes on this lens and see which of these will get a satisfactory response from my kids. Thanks so much for sharing. 5*

All of these recipes sound wonderful! I have 2 favorites. 1. Strawberries (or any fruit) and cool whip. 2. Warm maple syrup, pecans pieces, cool whip (optional) on top. We used to have Waffle Parties: Everyone brings their favorite topping and my Mom made homemade waffles. A homemade waffle is even wonderful Just Plain w/butter! My daughter has that Cuisinart 4 slice toaster and LOVES it...highly recommended. Congratulations on LotD!! Great lens!
  • PositiveChristian Mar 18, 2010 @ 1:29 am | delete

When I 1st read the title of this lens I thought that eggo was merely a typo error and it wasn't untill I got past the intro that I realised just what an Eggo is. Yesterday I felt cheated after reading a fantastic baseball lens because here in the UK we don't have baseball in any way or form and now this....why do we in the UK not have Eggo's?..I WANT EGGO'S TOO....5***** lens
  • momto4 Mar 16, 2010 @ 9:17 pm | delete
I couldn't imagine not having Eggo waffles! They're great, but you can substitute any frozen or homemade waffle for any of these recipes. Just pretend it's an Eggo :)

I like to make my own waffles and eat them with pure maple syrup. For dessert it's fun to make chocolate walnut waffles and top them with vanilla ice cream. For dinner I make a whole wheat waffle to serve with creamed chicken or topped with beef stew. Waffles are Wonderful, whether eggo or home made. Nice lens!
