My Thoughts
A Desk Perfect for My Lifestyle and My Health!
Personally, I find these desks to be a great idea. When I am working during the day, standing is sometimes preferable because it is better for my health. You burn more calories when you stand and you have less risk of having health problems like diabetes, high cholesterol, and heart problems. Plus standing sometimes make my back feel better and it is easier to have good posture.However, in the latter part of the day, when I am relaxing listening to music, watching a video, or playing a game on the computer, it is nice to be able to use the same desk in a sitting position, in a comfortable chair!
Most stand up only desks are a compromise because if you want to sit down, you will need to use a stool. I want the comfort of a nice office chair and the option of standing... and being able to change it in seconds with just a simple push of a button is very appealing!
