Why Electric Blankets Are The Best Presents Ever!

Electric blankets have been around since the 1930's. Back then they were very big and dangerous by today's standards. Not to worry - electric blanket technology has improved significantly and now many homes use these helpful heating aids. Don't worry, they are safe. But it is recommended to perform routine inspections each year. For example: run your hands over all of the internal wires, feeling for any areas that are broken, frayed, stiff or tangled. Some people recommend that the blanket should be turned on before you get into bed (to make the bed nice and toasty) and turned off when you get into bed. I like to keep mine set to "low" all night. My blanket automatically shuts off after 10 hours! It can even be machine washed! That's what's up!

It's not like you are buying a new car... It's a blanket... You aren't going to be spending over $10k. Depending on what size and brand you go with, an electric blanket can be purchased for somewhere between $25 and $160.

When you factor in the amount of money you will save on heating bills, you will be spending more money if you don't buy an electric blanket! When you sleep, turn the heat down in your house (to save money) and enjoy sleeping in a nice warm bed!
