    I was over at one of Susie's lenses (sisters) and jumped on a new link and found myself here. I was curious, so did a little reading and particularly enjoyed that you recommend "comfort" as important in choosing an electric guitar. Now that just makes so much sense. I didn't think I had anything to say in a discussion about guitars, but I do. About 30 years ago, I had a friend that was willing to give me guitar lessons and leant me an accoustic. I sure struggled but worked on it and my fingures sure did hurt. I thought something was wrong because I was losing my touch sensitivity as callouses formed. I was quite uncomfortable and was told this was normal. I'm not musically gifted, so I gave back the guitar. I like that "bag a bargain line of yours! (please check question 3)

    I've never played an electric guitar, just occasionally play my acoustic one just for fun 'cos I know a few chords. Nicely crafted lens on electric guitars...hopefully I will play one, someday! :)

    Stopped by to see how your electric guitar store is doing, been awhile.
    My oldest son is a classical guitarist, and my youngest son plays base.

    I was pleasantly surprised when I scrolled down and found you had included on topic information, and not just a collection of links. My only suggestion would be to move at least one topic a bit up the page so people won't click away without realizing you've got some good stuff here.

    My favorite electric guitar was my Gibson solid body electric from the 50's that was stolen from me in the 80's. I still miss that guitar. Currently I play amplified acoustic, but I have an electric guitar my husband built for me, so I'm not totally out of the electric guitar loop.

    I've played guitar for over 40 years now, but I think my skill level peaked at about age 17 for I don't play much better now than I did then.

    I'm a classic rock & heavy metal fan so you know that I love the screeching of electric guitars. I like the information that you have here (especially the history part) and will be sure to share you lens with my husband since he's played guitar in a few bands over the years and is a big Les Paul guitar fan. Nice job :)
