Among the foods you can cook with an Electric Smoker are fish, chicken, turkey, ribs, pork and steaks. Smaller meats will cook whole; larger meats such as chicken and turkey should be cut smaller.
In general, large meats can smoke longer because the fat will help to prevent the meat from drying out, although it will need to be wrapped to prevent the liquid fat spilling out. Medium sized meat and fish need less smoking time. Brush with marinade or wrap in foil to keep moist . Small meats such as chicken legs, cheese or sausages require less smoking time. Very small items such as shrimp should be kept together in a container in order to retain moisture.

- I'll have to push the I believe button on this lens. I have a wood Charbroil smoker on the back deck and find it hard to believe lectric can compete. Nice lens thoug!

- I've been using an electric smoker for the past 20 years and wouldn't trade it for the world. I love the fact that I don't have to mess with charcoal or worrying about keeping a propane tank filled. As long as the electric bill is paid, I'm set to go. But the best thing I like about an electric smoker is being able to control the temperature as I point out on my lens Lip-Smacking Good Barbecued Ribs

- Looks great - I wouldn't use it for meat or fish, being veggie, but smoking can still be nice for some veggie foods.
