Remember the show The Electric Company? It was an awsome show that taught kids how to read from 1971-1977. Produced by the Children's Television Workshop, the same people that brought you Sesame Street and Mr Roger's Neighborhood on PBS, this show had several big name stars such as  Morgan Freeman and Bill Cosby as well as the voices of Gene Wilder, joan Rivers as well as upcoming pop music from the 1980s (Fame and Flashdance) Irene Cara.
