Electric Heating Systems

Heating systems that run on boiling water are not as efficient as heating systems that run off of electricity.  Instead of using boiling water to provide radiant heat, electric heating systems use electricity to heat up energy cells that power heat-radiating metal ribs.  That way, an electric radiator is more efficient than a normal water-powered radiator.  A properly made electric radiator can turn fifteen minutes of electricity into sixty minutes of heat, something that most other radiators cannot beat.  Another benefit of an electricity-powered heating system is that it can provide both radiant heat and convected heat, which means that it has an easier time heating up a house than radiators that use only radiant heat.

The efficiency of electric heating systems can be measured by the amount of electricity is used to heat as well as in carbon dioxide emissions; As mentioned before, an electric heating system that is properly made can use as little as fifteen minutes of electricity and provide as much as an hour of heat.  This kind of heat is not just radiant heat, it also includes convected heat that is emitted in a chimney-like manner through the heating ribs of the heating system; Therefore the combination of convected and radiant heat helps heat up a house more readily than pure radiant heat alone.

They also do not emit much, if any, carbon dioxide when in use.  Based on grid-generated power, a well-made electric heating system can produce as little as 2.5 tons of carbon dioxide per year; This is assuming that the heater is used only during winter, working at sixty percent efficiently (which is all that is required to heat up a home to comfortable levels), and running twenty-four hours a day.  It is important to note that some very well-made electric heating systems will not produce any carbon dioxide directly.  This makes them very environmentally friendly as well as energy and economically efficient.

Being efficient in both energy usage and in terms of producing heat makes
electric heating systems
an extremely good investment; With average use based on the conditions listed in the paragraph above, an electric heating system can produce as little as 2.5 tons of carbon dioxide a year; They can also provide an hour's worth of heat, both convected and radiant, with as little as fifteen minutes of electricity, a level of efficiency that is nearly unmatched by other heating systems.
