I love fantasy art, but not just any kind of fantasy art. I am really drawn to what I would really call the elegant realm living in the wide, wide world of fantasy art. And some artists, a lot of them women I must say, are really, really good at it. The picture on your left for example, is a close-up of 'Frostmoon' by the very talented Nene Thomas. I am pleased to introduce a very talented French artist as well...
J'aime beaucoup l'art qui s'inspire du fantastique, mais pas n'importe lequel. Je suis vraiment attirée par ce que j'appellerais le royaume de l'élégance qui brille au sein du vaste monde qu'est le Fantastique. Certains artistes, dont beaucoup sont des femmes je dois dire, sont particulièrement doués dans ce domaine. L'image à gauche est un plan rapproché de 'Frostmoon', soit 'Lune givrée', de Nene Thomas qui a beaucoup de talent. Je suis heureuse de pouvoir inclure une artiste française également.
On the other hand, I also appreciate the whimsical charm of some other fantasy artists, who create lively fantasy creatures who remind me sometimes of childhood dreams.
D'un autre côté je ne suis pas insensible au charme des images crées par certains artistes qui donnent à leurs oeuvres une touche d'originalité un peu enfantine. Ils me rappellent le monde des rêves d'enfance, qu'aucun d'entre nous ne veut oublier.

Their styles are different, but both have that touch of elegance in common. Their fairies or mystical ladies have grace and the surroundings are gorgeous. Themes and sources of inspiration vary: mythology, music, seasons...
