Future Superstar
Elie's family got a piano when he was 10 years old. After only two years of practice he sent a demo to a Canadian program called La Fureur.
Because of his appearance on La Fureur he was chosen for one of the main roles for the film Maman est chez le Coiffeur (2008) where he shows off his musical skills.
Other appearances include Cinemission and Telethon-Operation Enfant Soleil.

This is Elie's first public appearance on February 24, 2007. At this point he had not yet taken any singing lessons. He also arraigned the medley.
You can tell he's nervous during the interview but he's calm and confident when he's at the piano.

Téléthon Opération Enfant Soleil
Elie also appeared on Telethon for Operation Sun Child on June 3, 2007 to support pediatric health care in Quebec.

This was recorded at Elie's home on September 29, 2007.
It is my favorite video. It doesn't have the glitzy studio editing. The piano isn't fancy. But the performance is raw and filled with passion. I also like the way Elie adjusts the microphone with his mouth.
