Why I created this lens
I'm ashamed to admit it, but I'm a spender. Because of that, I created over $50,000 in credit card debt.
Fortunately for me, I make a little over $100,000 per year. That helped me to get out of credit card debt. I know that my situation was very serious, and much worse than what most people get into. But many others get into a lot worse shape (especially relative to their income).
I decided that I wanted to help people. One of the ways that I'm doing that is by creating this lens. Spend some time here, add a comment to the guest book, read the free info that's available. Get educated. And get yourself out of debt.
Many of us are in debt (60% of all Americans). You're not alone. You simply have to get over the guilt/embarrassment about being saddled with debt. Deal with it and tackle it head on. We'll get you out of debt!

Top Debt Reducing Tips
Here are some of my favorite debt reducing tips.
- Set a monthly budget. Put a "name" to every dollar before you receive it.
- Spend cash. You will spend less.
- Be realistic about your expenses. Do you "need" premium cable while you're in debt? Can you cut your phone bill -land line or cell phone?
