Who is Elin Nordegren

When Nordegren's relationship with Woods became public knoeledge, nude photographs of a woman who loked like Elin Nordegren began to appear on the internet. In the comments it was stated that it was really Elin.

Elin Nordegren, who was performing modelling work that also included photos in bikinis, always categoracally denied that she had ever posed in the nude.

The nude photographs alledgedly from Elin Nordegren really show the Playboy magazine model Kim Hiott. Most of these photographs were lifted from the 2000 edition of Playboy's "Nudes" special edition.

Even though the real nude model was identified, and both Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods had at various occasions clearly denied, the Irish magazine 'The Dubliner' published an article in September 2006 (only days before the 2006 Ryder Cup): Titled "Ryder Cup Filth for Ireland," it showed the nude photographs of Hiott and claimed they were taken of Elin Nordegren. Tiger Woods told the press that the story was "unacceptable," his agent Mark Steinberg said, "Everyone knew it wasn't her. It's plain as day."

The Dubliner issued an apology for the story, saying that they had printed the photos as a "satire of tabloid publishing." But Elin Nordegren insited and won the lawsuit in Dublin court. The Dubliner must publish its lengthy apology in a variety of venues, including in its next issue. If the magazine fails to meet the conditions the award will be increased to $366,500 and the publishers will have to pay Nordegren Woods' legal costs.
