If you have seen any of the Pirates of the Caribbean films, no doubt, you have marveled at Elizabeth Swann's many amazing costumes. This lens is an introduction to each of the costumes so that you might either be able to construct them yourself or find something similar from a costume seller.

While the above costume is no longer available, you can still find similar era costumes. Personally, I find this one, despite being different in shade, offers the best bang for your buck if you're looking for a pre-made costume:



Obviously, the baroness headdress will have to go, but the cut is similar.

Curse of the Black Pearl - Barbossa's "Gift" Dress

This is the red dress that Barbossa "gives" to Elizabeth while on the Black Pearl. Of all the dresses that Elizabeth wears, I'd say this is the one with the least detail - though, that's not saying much as there's so much detail on the other dresses.







Curse of the Black Pearl - The Hanging Dress

This is the dress that Elizabeth wore to Jack's appointment with the gallows. Again, this first photo is credited to alleycatscratch.com.

This beautiful dress is Elizabeth's most elaborate gown.

Dead Man's Chest - Elizabeth's Pirate Costume

This is definitely the easiest of Elizabeth's costumes to produce. With simple slacks, a vest, white poets shirt and pirate hat, this can be reproduced somewhat inexpensively.

I adore this costume. I especially love the headpiece. It really sets it off. Here are a few photographs of the costume. You can also find a few in the bottom Flickr module as well.







In this one, you can really see how the piece fits around the top of her head and how she wears her hair in order to accommodate it.

    I am a short brunette so I doubt I would make a good Elizabeth Swann, but she is my favorite character from the movies. I feel that the guys get to much credit. She is the pirate king after all.

    Where did you find such good pictures of the singapore costume? I would love to find a website that has great quality images of costumes from movies, perferabilly with the actor wearing them (like those singapore pics).
