- That was one of my father's favorites. I hadn't remembered him listening or talking about him when I was growing up. The last Christmas my father was alive, I made him an album of MP3 downloads. I looked up a couple I remembered, then asked him who he liked. He surprised me by saying he liked pre-rock Elvis better than just about anything.

- 53 years ago today I was on my way to Prestwick. I knew he was great, but not just HOW great. I just love his gospel songs, and the others are just as great
