    Wow- very well researched lens. You put a lot into it and it shows. I was also a fan and wish he were still around although he'd probably be very frustrated by the obnoxious and offensive lyrics in a lot of "popular" music today.

    You know, I never really got into Elvis, but he was a huge inspiration for my man Jimmy Buffett. Elvis was clealy talented - the King! His influence has been felt far and wide. Great lense!

    My hubby's auntie was a big fan of Elvis and collected all kinds of memorabilia. I was a little young for Elvis but remember some of his movies. I'm really enjoying learning more about him. Your list of trivia is outstanding! Wow. He had such huge shoes! Lensrolling to my Elvis Lenses!

    Bob "Red" West was stationed w/ me & 55 other Marines aboard the USS Randolph CVA 15 back in 1958-1959.. Bob spent Xmas in Hollywood w/ Elvis year-Came back w/ pics & an old beat up trumpet. Boy, was it ever loud down in our quarters.. The pics & stories we saw & heard were unbelievable.Can't divulge- Hurt too many people & their reputations.

    My Dad was born on Jan 8 as well so he was always an Elvis fan. He had most of his records and we had a lot of Elvis playing in the house. Brings back memories.

    Just wanted to tell you I had fun playing your Elvis Trivia. Although some of the answers were not correct. Elvis' mother died at age 46, not 42. It's a common mistake because people think they were the same age at the time of their deaths. Other than that I think they were pretty much spot on. Thanks again!

    Interesting site... well designed. It should be noted, though, that the two vids are not Indianapolis... in spite of claims on youtube and elsewhere.

    Unchained Melody was filmed by CBS on June 21, 1977 in Rapid City. CBS only filmed 2 shows... Omaha (June 19) and Rapid City.

    The 8mm audience footage is believed to be Chicago in May 1977. The drummer in that footage is Ronnie Tutt. Tutt didn't play Indianapolis. His fill-in, Larry Londin, did.

    i;am now 41. i loved elvis. now every night before i go to bed. i listen to his music. he was really the king. omg. we are so much a like. i cant beleive it. he will always be a live in my eyes. hope someday. i get to meet him. :( so so sad. my fiance looks like him . hes a singer but none can ever come close to elvis beautiful voice. amen rip elvis. i know your singing in heaven with my dad, and my bro:) always princess.
