Note: This updates you on ALL my lenses, not just this one!
1. Visit SquidUtils to get your RSS feed
2. Get your SquidCasts feed.
On the next page, click on "Lensmaster RSS Feeds".
Copy the "RSS Feed of your own Squidcasts".
Example: mine is Mine is: http://squidutils.com/squidcasts/from/lindajm.rss. If you click on that you'll get a form allowing you to subscribe to my SquidCasts via an RSS reader, such as GoogleReader. But we're going to set up email subscriptions instead, so don't stop here.
3. Join FeedBurner
4. Set up your RSS feed
Go to the "My Feeds" page if you're not there already.
In the box that says "Burn a feed right this instant" put in the RSS feed you got from SquidUtils. Do not check the podcaster box. Click on 'next'.
5. Change title and address if you want to
Title your Feed. My title is: 'LindaJM's SquidCasts in Email'
Rename your feed address if you want to. I renamed mine 'lindajm-squidcasts'
Click on "Activate Feed".
6. Now set up the email feed
You now have a feed!
Click on 'Skip directly to feed management'.
Click on the 'Publicize' link at the top of the page.
In the sidebar, click on 'Email Subscriptions'.
Choose FeedBurner, FeedBlitz, or Rmail. I always stay with FeedBurner.
Click on 'Activate'.
Here's what a typical SquidCast email looks like.
The large blue letters are links to your lenses.
7. Place the email feed link on your lens
Copy the html code in the second box to make your link.
Add a new text module to your lens and place your code there. Modify the link text if you wish. I changed mine to 'Subscribe to get notifications of my lens updates by email.' I also changed the module title to 'Subscribe to get notification of my lens updates by email'.
Save the module and admire your work!
8. One last important detail
I add a caveat: 'Note: This updates you on ALL my lenses, not just this one!' (You can see this in the intro module of this lens.) I don't want to get complaints later from people who want updates to the Video Blogging lens but find they're getting updates to Bigfoot lenses too!

- I'm going to try, I tend to panic when it comes to RSS feeds. I bookmarked this lens and will return to it when I'm thinking more clearly. Five stars and thanks!

- Good morning, Linda.
Thanks for the reminder! I have been syndicating my SquidCasts feed and intended to offer email subscriptions to the feed, but forgot all about it.
This is a great lens and the explanation is very easy to follow.
