Evernote Email will walk you through how to Email to Evernote. Evernote is a multimedia notepad which you can use online and off. You can push information into Evernote simply by using an email account. Wherever you have emailing access (PC, Mac, Mobile Device, A Web Browser and even via the experimental browser on a Kindle) you can use this to send notes and ideas straight into Evernote.

What is Evernote?
Evernote from www.evernote.com is a clever series of applications which can capture almost any information you can think of - text, web pages, snapshots, pictures, pdfs, voice notes and more. You can download the full featured software onto a PC or Mac, opt to use Evernote online (it works in most web browsers) OR choose one of the many apps which are available for mobile devices.Because you can use Evernote just about anywhere means you can save the information you need, when it matters. No matter where you use Evernote, all the apps will keep your info synced up with an Internet Connection. So you could have Evernote on your PC, on your iPhone and use it Online and they will all store the same information. And the last and best thing is - it's FREE! 1) Go to www.Evernote.com and login (or Create a New Account if you don't already have one)2) Click on the "Settings" link which is top-right once you've logged in.
3) Now you're on the Settings page, scroll to the bottom.
4) There's a section right at the bottom called "Emailing to Evernote" - it's at the bottom. No wonder so many people miss it, right!
5) So here is your Evernote email address, something like: username.0011@m.evernote.com
6) Copy this email address. If you hover your computer cursor over the link and right-click, it should say "Copy Email Address." Click on this to copy it and paste it somewhere you'll remember - your Address Book or Contacts List.
NOTE: You can also find your Evernote Email Address under Account Info in the desktop version and in the Sync tab of Evernote for iPhone.
7) Email information to your Evernote email address and it will be saved into your Evernote account.

3 Quick and Handy Evernote Emailing Tips
The subject line of your email will end up being the title of the note once it appears in Evernote. You can also do a couple of other nifty things in the subject line of your email:
1) If you want your email to appear in a specific Evernote notebook, use the @ symbol followed by the name of the notebook.
For example: subject_line @mynotebook
Be aware that this will only work with notebooks you've already set up on Evernote. Also, you need to remember what your notebook is called for it to be of any use!
2) If you want to add tags to show up in your Evernote account, use the # symbol followed by a tag. If you want more than one tag, you need to use the # symbol again
For example: subject_line @mynotebook #tag1 #tag2
Again, this only works with tags you've already set up on Evernote. Also, you need to remember what your tags are called for it to be of any use!
3) If you want to change your Evernote Email Address, (perhaps you are getting spam into your Evernote account which you want to stop) just go into the Settings area of the Evernote online website, scroll down and select "Reset incoming email" to generate a new address.

Yes! You can email text, photos, emails (use Forward in your email account) and audio into your Evernote account.

- I keep thinking I need to go back to Evernote and remember how to use it - thanks. My questions are apt to be along the line of... well, you aren't going to be able to tell me my password... but maybe what to do if I have an account floating around... somewhere.

- Ha, no I wouldn't know your password. But I have a habit of joining things online and forgetting about them only to go back later in time. Normally I can find account info saved somewhere in my email account by doing a quick search. Thanks for stopping by.
