A collection of videos about embalming and restoration techniques
Here they are, all in one spot. I've searched high and low over the internet and found these videos on embalming - including clips from my own video on Restorative Art.
I've viewed most of them and they are quite informative - nothing offensive, nothing gruesome. You will see things like a day in the life of a Funeral Director, step by step of the embalming process, and other funeral / embalming related material.
Compared to these videos, my DVD is VERY graphic - but not in a gratuitous way, it really is all about teaching the techniques for restoration and cosmetizing of badly damaged bodies.
Filmed in 1938 by Mortuary Science students - a "must see" for students, morticians, funeral directors, and anyone interested in the restoration process.
...proprietress of Orphaned Art and Objects Mart, and various other budding internet enterprises.
I love finding cast off treasures at estate sales and second hand stores! My home is full of artwork by unknown and naive artists - with a smattering of listed, well-known artists.
My eBay store just scratches the surface of what I have in storage. I prefer to thoroughly research the artwork before listing - it's a fun thing to do, and I learn something in the process.
