So you want to know about the emerging church. Well, lets keep in mind that the emerging church is not an official label or group or movement or denomination of any kind. Because no one person or group of people speak on behalf of the emerging church, it is perhaps best understood by the diversity of people and communities that self-identify under the term. The last thing I want to do is define it for you. I will simply point you in helpful directions, so click away friend!  For the benifit of others I encourage you to rate this lens, also feel free to contact me with the link in the about section.

Keep in mind that emergent does not equal the emerging church. That said, the folks at emergent village get the majority of the media attention, and their site is fine place to start.
