Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer joined to form the band Emerson, Lake and Palmer (ELP) in 1970 and went on to be one of the most talented and influential groups in the progressive-art rock movement.

- E.L.P. is by far THE BEST band ever formed. The talents of these 3 gentlemen is unsurpassed by anyone. Keith's keyboard abilities rivals the the old masters. Greg's song writing talents are suoerb, and of course the insane drumming of Carl Palmer. Thank you Emerson Lake and Palmer for giving the world some of the best music my ears have ever heard.

- Greg Lake went to my high school (Poole Grammar School, Poole, Dorset, England) - but a "couple" of years ahead of me. Hey - another claim to fame :)
