    I got the emery for my cat, but he seems to totally ignore it. Any suggestions? My chair will appreciate it..heh.

    I'm lucky, I have a feral cat and when she started to come in the house I just taught her not to scratch on anything except the scratching poll...however once in a while she gets frisky and grabs the couch and starts to scratch, all I have to yell is NO and she is on her way...I think she is exceptionally smart...lensrolled to "my feral cat named Kitty" lens
