Finding Freedom from Oppressive Bosses and Dead End Jobs can be a Reality for Anyone who has the Desire to Truly Make a Change.

If you've been waiting for the right time to start an Internet Business...

Stop Waiting and Start Moving Forward!

You know how they say "What doesn't kill makes you stronger". Well that's not completely true, you may not always die but you can get pretty sick, and in some cases complications from excessive stress really can kill you!

Stress is the major cause for many illnesses and as it stands currently about one third of the workforce report high levels of stress in their jobs and about one fourth of the nation's workforce credit their jobs as the major source of stress in their lives. And about three fourths of the workforce believes that today's worker has more on the job stress than those of the last generation.

More and more people are falling as victims to medical issues brought on by workplace stress, and the laws aren't necessarily geared for the benefit of the employee, most times the process of filing a workman's compensation claim and the time that it takes for the legal proceedings can add additional stress to the whole situation, perpetuating the physical issues and then adding both financial and emotional stressors as well.

So what does a person do finding themselves in this type of situation? And if you are in this predicament; How can you keep this type of situation from occurring again?
Well I can tell you what I did, after years of fighting for my rights and having to relive my torturous story over and over again while hearing lies about my character come out of my employers mouth, I was left without much vitality to celebrate finally winning my case, so right then I decided that I would never again be an Employee!

I joined the ranks of the self-employed I decided it was far better to take my chances on myself than turn my life over to another megalomaniac without a conscience.

So here are the steps I took that may help you get started on your Journey to Success and Financial Freedom

1. Make the Decision
This is a major step in your life so be sure to include spouses, significant others and family members who will be affected by the decision. Be sure to let them know your reasons why this is so important to you.
After making that decision you have to create a plan

2. Create your plan (Research, research, research)
This is critical; you cannot make a move without first knowing what you want to do, and what your chances of success might be, Remember this is like planning a jailbreak, you don't want to be caught by the warden and have to go back to serving time (remember the megalomaniac without a conscience!)

3. Find a Product(s) or Service (s) that you would feel good about representing, or if you're gifted create your own.
For goodness sakes be ethical, be legitimate, there are plenty of rip offs and scam artists out there that try to ruin it for everyone else, and even if they find short lived success, they will eventually be caught, so be sure that any associations you make are above reproach, remember what goes around comes around.

4. Find the Compensation Plan that fits your needs, and understand it.
This is really important, you want to be sure that you are getting paid right? But you also really need to understand how it works, so if you get involved in Network Marketing or Direct Sales, there could be a variety of methods for payment and Compensation Models so be sure you understand this before signing on the dotted line.

5. Learn about Internet Marketing, this will be key to your success you won't make any money if nobody knows about you.

6. Find a mentor, or mentors; one of the things you will find about being an Internet Entrepreneur is that there are some that have gone before you that are happy to share their wisdom and knowledge with you, and there is tons of information out there and a lot of it is free.

7. Be open to personal growth, this is truly a journey and even if you have a PhD or a Masters Degree in business or marketing you have to be teachable. This is a whole other world this Internet Society and a great equalizer, being in Business on the Internet is not like having a typical brick & mortar business. So, in saying that, let me advise you to be open to learning new processes and new techniques (even if it's from a 20 or 30 something guy or gal that has no degrees per se but has such intense and comprehensive knowledge of Internet Marketing and Direct Selling that they can put you out to pasture if you had a face off!)

8. Be Excited! This is an exciting time for you, whether you are fresh out of college and realize that you can't find a job in your field, or a Baby-boomer looking at retirement and not sure if your bank account will be enough to sustain you, or a Mom or Dad who has fallen head over heels in love with your child and can't bear the thought of leaving them with a sitter to raise them while you go back to the same old job. Be excited, because you really can change your life and your future by going into business for yourself and using the Most Powerful tool of our time, The World Wide Web, bringing the whole world to the tips of your fingers!

9. Bring passion to what you are doing, find something that you are passionate about and share your expertise with others. Chances are not only will you help people but you may find the help you need as well.

10. Give Freely, the Law of Reciprocity applies here, don't just show up with an open hand ready to receive find out what it is you can give to others and in turn it shall be given back to you!

I like number 10 the best. Congratulations on finding Squidoo, a great vehicle to help accomplish all those things you have laid out above. I agree with Clive, very well presented.
