Emross War

Ranked #373 in Games, #11,864 overall

Introduction (Lense brought to you by 6300Phones.com)

Emross War is a free MMORPG, build your kingdom, mine resources, learn new technology, hire heroes, and fight with your troops against the rest of the Emross War community.

Emross War has a full economy where you can buy items with gold or gems that you have collected, mined or purchased. You can buy resources, armour and weapons, some of which can be traded on to other players.

Getting started in the game is quite easy because there are quests which allow you to level up by following some simple steps. Also earn you rewards as you go.

You can join an alliance, in other games known as guilds or clans. This allows you to chat with other members of the alliance to gain tips and also ask for protection or help. Later in the game you can buy a token and form your own alliance. Although that will cost you 100k gold.
Emross War allows you access to a chat facility where you can chat to everyone in the community who is currently online. It also allows you to private chat or to chat only to your alliance if you have joined one. There is also an email system where you can send emails to other players and you also receive system emails, war reports and reports from your scouts.

Emross War is available from the App store. It is a free app. Here is the link to the Emross War section of the app store: Emross War - iFree StudioEmross War - iFree Studio

Basic Guide

Emross War main view screen shot

Resources - These are the main components of the game, without these you can't buy or build anything. As they are the building blocks, it is important to keep production at a high level. You can build farms, woodcutters, iron mines and gold mines to produce your own resources. The other ways of obtaining them are to raid other players castles, obtain resources from colonies on the map, attack devil armies or you can buy them using gems.

Downtown - Here you can buy houses. Houses increase the population of your kingdom. Without people you will not have anyone to work in your mines or farms and you won't have people to train as soldiers. Make sure that your population is not negative or your production levels will drop. Downtown you also have Storage. These let you store higher amounts of resources and help reduce the loot potential or would be raiders. The last building here is the facility centre. Improving that building will reduce the time it takes to construct other buildings in the game.

Barracks - The Barracks are where you train your soldiers. The higher the level of Barracks the more troop choices that will become available. Some units may appear but you can't train them, this will be because you still need to do some research, see below.

Research - In the Research area you can build a University. The higher the level of University the more research options will become available. Researching allows you access to better troops and can also increase performance of other aspects of your kingdom.

Heroes - In this area you can hire Heroes. A hero is a leader, who can lead your troops into battle. The higher the level of Arena the better Hero you can attract. You can also fight them in the arena to build up their levels.

Defense - Build defensive walls to help protect you against attacks. It will help reduce loot potential of would be raiders.
Beginner Protection - the system has a 7 day buffer for new players that means that you cannot get attacked during that period. During this time it is a good idea to build up your resources and build an army ready to protect you at the end.

Guide to Heroes

Heroes are the leaders of your army. The higher level hero you have the more troops you can carry into battle.

You can hire a new hero at every odd level that your arena has been upgraded to, for example, 1 at 1, 2 at 3, 3 at 5 etc. The higher the level of the arena, the better the likelihood of attracting a better hero. You buy them drinks and then with some gold, convince them to join your Army. There is also the chance to hear a rumour about higher level heroes. Rumours give you information about heroes between J and A.

You can level up your heroes in arena battles. Although it is better to upgrade your arena then to have to level up your heroes.
All heroes have a poker card associated to them. The higher the card the rarer the hero. The rarer the hero the better they are likely to be.

The average level that your arena must be to obtain certain heroes is as follows. Arena Level 1+ (1-10), Level 3+ (1-Jack), Level 9+ (1-Queen), Level 13+ (1-King), Level 17+ (1-Ace).

Guide to Devil armies

There are two types of unit in the Devil armies. Horrors being the weakest and Nightmares being the toughest. They can also have Chaos Heroes with them.

Nightmares have around 60 attack and 10 defence per unit whereas a Horror will have around 15 attack and 8 defence.

If your army has a defence that is equal to or greater then the Devil armies attack you will not take any loses. So make sure you have troops with a high defence value.

If you would like a calculator to work out if you can defeat the Devil Armies you can get Devil Army Calculators Here.

Guide to New Castles

In order to complete one of the in game challenges you will need to construct an additional castle. The first thing that you need to create a new castle is a Lonufal. They can be produced in your Barracks. When you have your Lonufal, you need to go to the map screen and select an empty square, there will then be an option to build a new castle. This requires a certain amount of resources, the further away it is the more that is required.

The castle operates in exactly the same way as your original one. It starts as a blank canvas so you will need to develop it from scratch. It will give you a bit of dejavu and test your patience because it takes a long time for you to get the castle up to a useful size.

Battlefield Explained

Recently iFree released an additional server and basically a second dimension to the Emross War game play. Every time that there is a Battlefield game, the top players from each server will be called to battle. They will be sent an invite and the players that accept from the 4 servers will be transported to a new smaller world. This is an additional game world so they will still maintain their original game on their original server.

Each player will have a castle spawned near members of their own server and the winners will be the only remaining players from one server. Each player has a single castle to begin with, very similar to when you first start in the Emross War world. It is practically the same although everything happens quicker. Troops cost less, production time is quicker and you get rewarded much easier. The idea being to speed things along so that the battles start much faster.

Emross War Hacked and/or Problems with iFree

It has been reported that the Emross War game has been hacked and that iFree have not been helpful. As this is a very popular game, I would like to get your opinions on whether in your experience you have experienced any evidence of hacking, either your account hacked or any hacking/cheating in the game environment.

Also as a side, if any of you have had any dealings with iFree, please let us know if they have been good or bad and why. I have many players of the game reading this topic so any information provided will benefit everyone.

As far as I am aware you can't gift a hero to an ally. I have tried and I have also scoured the Emross War forum for you and can't find any reference to being able to do it.

You can give a hero to an ally by lowering it's loyalty to zero then attacking the ally's castles 3x each or having them attack your castle with the hero set as the guardian. Note that you have to set to defend but have no troops in the castle. If you are attacking your ally, then find them on the map, tap loot, then select the hero and send them with 1 overlord. This way the hero will lose and the ally will have a chance of capturing it. Note that you cannot have 2 of the same ace in a castle unless you have rumors for one of the aces then capture another and continue getting rumors until you can recruit the new hero. Excluding special heroes, you can obtain up to 6 aces in your castles with these methods. Two tani, two of your special ace that is your race (kani for elf, Lejang for Orc, and dhumak for human) and then one of each of the other two races' aces. Hope this helps :)
