Many Massage Therapists have realised the healing potential of Emu Oil and are using it to give pain relief to their clients.
Emu oil can be bought as capsules, cream, shampoo, soap and as an essential oil.

Emu Oil Taken Internally
InternallyIf taken in capsule form Emu Oil can provide you with the healing properties of Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9 essential fatty acids.
Medical trails have shown that Omega 3 supplements can help prevent heart attacks and strokes. They do this by slowing down the "furring" up of your arteries, lowering your blood pressure, lowering your triglyceride levels and decreasing arrhythmias (which can cause a heart attack).
Another benefit of Omega 3 which has recently discovered is that it may help make you smarter! Research suggests that that taking an Omega 3 supplement may make it easier for electrical signals to cross the gap between brain cells making your brain more efficient. Because Omega 3 also helps improve blood flow throughout your body (including your brain) thereby also helping with improving brain function
Emu oil applied Externally
Emu Oil can be applied directly to your skin in the form of a cream. It is transdermal which means it penetrates deeply into the lower layers of skin making it more effective.
It has natural anti-inflammatory properties which make it ideal for helping conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis. The usual drug treatments Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS) are used to treat the symptoms and not the cause. They have many unpleasant side effects particularly if taken over a long period. Because Emu Oil has no known side effects this is not a problem.
Emu Oil also has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and moisturising properties which make it helpful in treating athletes foot, eczema and other fungi.
