Simple Bible instructions on how to recognize a true prophet of the Living God
Here are some simple Bible instructions on how to recognize a true prophet of God. The Bible tells us that in the last days, many false prophets will emerge, trying do deceive as many as possible, even the very elect.Jer 1:4-10; Iz 6:1-8 - they are invited from God
1 Kor 14:3,4 - they help the growth in the Lord, they build up the Church, they encourage and they comfort.
2 Tim 3:16 - they have to be in harmony with the Scriptures
John 16:13,14 - the prophecies have to glorifiy and uplift Jesus Christ
Deuteronomy 18:22,22 - They have to come true.
Deuteronomy 13:1-5 - They have to lead towards God, and towards obedience to Him.
Romans 8:15 - They have to provide freedom.
2 Cor 3:6 - They have to provide life.
1 John 2:27 - The Holy Spirit confirms them to every believer.
Matthew 7:15-20 - They have to create good fruits.
Of course, there are many more things a true prophet of God should do, and you can find them throughout the Bible.
One of the most important parts on how to test spirits if they come from God are 1. John 4 and 1. John 5. Be sure to read them.

No im not a prophet, nor do i claim to be, and maybe you should read other than the bible, to understand what i have said, anyway your a good point to others as it is said, you must search for the truth, and if you think its all in the bible, then your very ignorant.
also to say to me to repent means you have a closed mind, therefore you will not see truth if and when you find it, anyway it is said the sheep are asleep, so back to your dream land.

Michael, your post is very interesting. I found it surfing the net using the year of my birth, 1957. Although I know I'm not Christ,(I drink too much beer) I have seen some very strange anomalies over the years. For one, when I was young, especially in my 20's, I would see the number sequence 777 on the license plates of cars, sometimes as many as 4 a day...all on different cars. I have literally seen thousands over the years. This can not be coincidence...just try it, you might go for weeks before spotting one. My mother was born on January 20 and my father on February 18. Check those dates, they are the generally accepted dates for the sign of Aquarius. I was born on February 16. My little brother was born on March 25, which used to be the ancient Roman New Year and is the Catholic day of Annunciation. My sister was born June 12, 1959 which was Sivan 6 that year on the Jewish calendar...the day God spoke to Israel on Mount Zion. In some types of numerology 02/16/57 = 02 5/1 6/7 = 777
