Intention In Your Energy Work

Energy work can take on many forms in order to accomplish well being for the physical, emotional and spiritual health of an individual. Some of those forms are the following:

-Verbal Communication
-Touch
-Nutrition
-Exercise
-Cleansing

All these may be done not just on the physical level, but also on the emotional and spiritual levels. Such as a cleanse. Most frequently cleansing is thought of as strictly a physical cleansing. However, it is important to think of cleansing at all levels. The physcial will rid the body of accumulated toxins, but the emotional and spiritual cleanse will allow new thoughts to come in to one's life. In order to get out of a rut, you may need to cleanse those old thoughts and allow new thought patterns to manifest.

To approach any type of energy work for it to be effective one must have an intention. The intention is what drives the energy toward your goal. When you begin your energy work, state your intention verbally, mentally and focus on that intention to achieve your results. Then begin your journey to manifest that which you desire.

Chakras are physical,emotional and spiritual centers of energy in the body. Each chakras is represented by a specific color and various attributes.

First Chakra, color red,located at base of spine, represents smell and the Physical identity, oriented to self-preservation.

Second chakra, color orange is located in the lower abdomen and sexual organs, is related to the element water, represents taste and the Emotional identity oriented in self gratification.

Third Chakra, color yellow,located in the solar plexus is related to the fire element and represents sight and the Ego identity, oriented to self-definition.

Fourth Chakra, color green, located in the lung/heart area related to the air element, represents touch and is the Social identity, oriented to self-acceptance.

Fifth Chakra, turquoise color, is located in the throat related to the ether element and represents sound and the Creative identity, oriented to self-expression.

Sixth Chakra Light, deep blue, located in the pineal area or third eye, related to intuitiveness and psychic abilities and represents Archetypal identity, oriented to self-reflection.

Seventh Chakra, white or gold color, located at crown represents awareness and Universal identity, oriented to self-knowledge.
