Energy Saving Lightbulbs
The energy saving lightbulbs is commonly called as Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) or Compact Fluorescent Lightbulbs (CFL). CFLs can be fit in the existing light fixtures formerly used for normal lightbulbs. CFLs can produce the same amount of light with the normal lightbulbs but use up to 80% less electricity than a normal lightbulb. We can save money and energy by using energy saving lightbulbs. And by saving energy, you'll be helping to fight climate change too.
There are several of fittings, shapes and sizes for CFLs. These range from stick shaped bulbs candle shaped varieties, with small or medium screw and bayonet fittings. The most common type of CFLs are Twin Tube Compact Fluorescent Lamp, Quad Tube Compact Fluorescent Lamp, Spiral Compact Fluorescent Lamp, and Circular Compact Fluorescent Lamp.
You can choose any type of CFLs to best fit your house. Even now there are low energy light fittings which will only take low energy lightbulbs. Low energy fittings require a pin based energy saving bulb. This is a different fitting to a conventional bulb but will ensure that the bulbs you buy in future will always save energy, money and the environment.

- Great lens. Also, remember that fluorescent bulbs need to be recycled because of the mercury they contain. This is costs money, but fairly inexpensive to recycle.
