Energy Saving Lightbulbs
There are several of fittings, shapes and sizes for CFLs. These range from stick shaped bulbs candle shaped varieties, with small or medium screw and bayonet fittings. The most common type of CFLs are Twin Tube Compact Fluorescent Lamp, Quad Tube Compact Fluorescent Lamp, Spiral Compact Fluorescent Lamp, and Circular Compact Fluorescent Lamp.
You can choose any type of CFLs to best fit your house. Even now there are low energy light fittings which will only take low energy lightbulbs. Low energy fittings require a pin based energy saving bulb. This is a different fitting to a conventional bulb but will ensure that the bulbs you buy in future will always save energy, money and the environment.
How to choose the energy saving light bulbs?
When these logos appear on the light bulbs, it means it's met the strict energy efficiency criteria set by the government organization. The light bulbs is tested in energy consumption, criteria for light bulbs cover how long they should last, quality of light, packaging information and safety to make sure that light bulbs is energy efficient and safe to use.

- Nice lens, I read you can save $30-50 over the lifetime of the bulb. They are more than just a compelling argument. Here are some other home energy saving tips, once you have replaced your bulbs.
