New England Shirt For Away Games 2010/12
Football: England Away Shirt 2010/2012
The new England Shirt for England's Football away games was released on 13th October 2010 and will cover a two year period up to 2012 when no doubt the Football Association will inevitably bring out another shirt to bring in the money for another lacklustre campaign...The shirt is again manufactured by Umbro (under Nike control) which has been a shirt sponsor come maker for many decades now. I have never really been an England Shirts fanatic, the wearing of replica shirts has their place but on my 12 beers a match day slimfit physique it's rather a desperate attempt that I could be anything other than a terrace bound drunk which leads me on to the specifics of the England football shirt.
This Umbro England shirt has been put together by a Gentleman named Aitor Throup - good old English name; the shirt has three different sections, the replica shirt being an exact replica has the same added benefits for players as well as supporters who will wear it in Shopping Centres and Public Houses around the country.
The three sections for players are; the Front - made of cotton and polyester it offers comfort and protection; the Sleeves - made with elastane to allow for movement and added ball control manoeuvres and the back and sides which hold in place a mesh fabric to ventilate the body.
The three sections for fans are; the Front, made of cotton and polyester, turn this side up when laying down across several seats during a boring game and use the shirt as an head rest for perfect sleep after twelve beers; the Sleeves - being made with elastane supporters will now be able to point at opposition fans and have free moving 360 degree sign language with all around and not forgetting the back and sides - after being marched fifteen miles by the local constabulary, you may sweat a lot but the air cooling system will get rid of it quick.
It's great that supporters can have the same England Shirts as players and their heroes and that designers take into account the differing needs when a fan buys and wears them. And of course, it's much better to spend £55 on a new England Shirt come player replica shirt that has a shelf life of two years compared to the one worn by fans of the 1966 team which didn't change for ten years or that old Metallica t-shirt that you love and cost £2.99 and has lasted you twenty-three years and is always in fashion.

- Haha funny article about replica shirts for fans being the same as players, have always wondered the same myself. Why they're exact replicas, guess that's part of the selling process though otherwise they'd be t-shirts and not England shirts.
