English in Delhi

The top three English language institutes in Delhi are the British Council , Inlingua and ILSC . However, these are also the most expensive institutes. The British Council, which holds classes at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, is a British institute. It operates 136 centres in 56 countries and its New Delhi centre opened in 1997. Inlingua International. is a Swiss company which operates 345 schools in 44 countries. In Delhi, it has its centres in South Extension (main centre), Vikas Marg, Gurgaon, Kamla Nagar, Noida, Pitampura, Yamuna Vihar. ILSC or International Language Schools of Canada. was founded in Vancouver in 1991. It has centres in Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco and New Delhi. Its New Delhi centre is located in Shivalik near Malviya Nagar.

1. British Academy for English Language (BAFEL) - Established in the year 2001 by Mrs. Alka Gupta, it has more than 50 branches across India. In Delhi, its centres are at Dwarka, Laxmi Nagar, Tilak Nagar, Noida, Patel Nagar, Ber Sarai, Satya Niketan, North Campus and Faridabad.

4. Veta - It is possibly India's largest English speaking institute with more than 250 branches across the country. In Delhi, its centres are at Dwarka, Janak Puri, Kamla Nagar, Punjabi Bagh, Yamuna Vihar and Shakarpur.
