English to Telugu

The first and most important thing is that you do not need to translate from Telugu to speak fluent English. In fact, the thing that is probably holding you back is that you think of something to say in Telugu, translate it into English in your head and speak hesitantly. You need to immerse yourself in English and slowly you will not need to think in Telugu. Conversing in English will become a natural process.

A few tips to immerse yourself in English and become a confident English speakers
- Make a pact with your friends that you will take to each other only in English
- Watch the English news every day
- Spend time in front of the mirror practicing English
- Call an acquaintance and talking in English
- Learn ten new words everyday and use them in our daily conversation
- Talk to good English speakers and tell them that you are trying to improve English. Ask for their guidance.

I recommend using Telugu resources only to know the meaning of a particular words or a phrase. Google Translate is a free tool which helps you do that. But do take its results with a pinch of salt as the results can sometimes be just the literal translation.There is the J.P.L. Gwynn's 'A Telugu-English Dictionary' in digital format available online and so are multiple sites like languageshome.com, changathi.com, telugudictionary.org etc. But these resources will just facilitate your journey from Telugu to English. Results purely depend on how much effort you put in and how often you practice speaking English.
